Prostate-specific antigen (PSA) is a protein produced by the prostate that is measured in blood for early detection of prostate cancer. It can also be elevated in benign conditions such as benign prostatic hyperplasia and prostatitis. It is an important screening tool for men over 50.
Fasting is not required. Avoid ejaculation, vigorous bicycle exercise, and digital rectal examination 48 hours before the test, as they can temporarily elevate PSA.

Request DemoComplete Blood Count (CBC)
The complete blood count evaluates the three main types of blood cells: red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets. It helps detect anemia, infections, clotting disorders, and hematological diseases. It is one of the most commonly ordered laboratory tests in clinical practice.
Basic Metabolic Panel (BMP)
The basic metabolic panel measures glucose, calcium, electrolyte levels, and kidney function in the blood. It provides essential information about metabolism, fluid balance, and kidney health. It is fundamental for evaluating overall health status and guiding treatment of chronic diseases.
Comprehensive Metabolic Panel (CMP)
The comprehensive metabolic panel is an extension of the basic panel that also includes liver function tests and blood proteins. It evaluates liver health, kidney function, glucose metabolism, and electrolyte balance. It is a comprehensive tool for diagnosing and monitoring multiple medical conditions.
Lipid Panel
The lipid panel measures total cholesterol, HDL cholesterol, LDL cholesterol, and triglyceride levels in the blood. It is essential for assessing cardiovascular risk and guiding prevention strategies. Elevated LDL and triglyceride levels are associated with an increased risk of coronary artery disease and stroke.
